Notifiable Matters Statement
This document sets out how Riparian Finance Pty Limited ABN 95 687 445 227 and its related entities (Riparian
Finance, we, us or our) manage your credit-related personal information, as required under the Privacy Act and the
Privacy (Credit Reporting) Code.
As part of assessing applications and the management of products and services we provide, we may disclose some
personal information to one or more Credit Reporting Bodies (CRBs) in connection with our business operations, to
obtain a credit report and to otherwise assess any finance application. These CRBs may include the credit-related
personal information we disclose to them in reports they provide to credit providers to assist them to assess your
credit worthiness (for example, in assessing your future applications).
When we obtain a credit report from a CRB it is an Information Request, which will appear on your credit report and
may be used and disclosed by the CRB (and us) to assess your credit worthiness, including when you make
subsequent applications for credit, whether that is with us or another credit provider. Information Requests on your
credit report have the potential to affect your credit score depending on the amount and type of credit you are applying
for, frequency of Information Requests appearing on your credit report and your credit history.
You may request access to your credit-related personal information held by us, request that we update your
information that you think is incorrect, contact us for further information or make a complaint. Our Credit Reporting
Policy sets out how you may exercise these rights, and how we will deal with a complaint. You may also contact us to
request a version of this notice in an alternative form (such as a hard copy).
